designed by Anna Popelka and Georg Poduschka (PPAG architects) in 2003 in the framework of a competition for ideas for the courtyards of the Museums-Quartier in Vienna. Harald Grünauer designed the present seating furniture for the participating country of Armenia. Inscribed: “Grünauer H.”, the design received the Adolf Loos State Prize for Design in the “Spatial Design” category in 2005 and was nominated for the State Prize for Design of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2006. Pared-down structure made of plastic, multicoloured decoration. In the framework of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), 40 pieces of the MQ courtyard furniture were designed by 40 Austrian artists. A piece of seating furniture was dedicated to each of the participating countries. Length c. 300 cm, depth c. 125 cm, height c. 100 cm, height of seat c. 50 cm. Slight signs of age and wear.
